APPSC Recruitment Notifications 2011 - 2012 Latest Updates
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is in the process of releasing at least 15 recruitment notifications for the fill up of posts such as Group 1 Officers, DSP, Assistant Conservator of Forests, Degree College Lecturers, Govt. Polytechnic and Junior College Lecturers etc. Various administrative and policy constraints are creating hurdles for the release of these notifications. The APPSC is contemplating to release all the notifications in a phased manner after clearance from concerned public departments. Not withstanding the guidelines of G.O. 420, the APPSC may conduct the interviews for key recruitments like Group -1, DSP (communications), Assistant Conservator of Forests, Lecturers in Degree Colleges and Polytecnic Colleges etc. Sub Inspector (SI) vacancies will be filled based on written examination only. In another development, the Chief Minister has directed the APPSC to release Group -2 results before December 2011.
Following are some of the important recrruitments that have been in pending for a whole due to confusion over the implementation of GO 420. These are:
1) Deputy Surveyors: 242 posts
2) Industrial Promotion Officers
3) Supervisors Grade -1 in Women and Child Welfare Departments: 314 posts
About 8000 candidates are waiting for the release of interview schedules. Interviews to be held for the following recruitments:
1) Lecturers posts in Polytechnic Colleges
2) DAO
3) ASO (Assistant Statistical Officers)
4) Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE)
5) Group -1 posts
6) Motor Vehicle Inspectors
If everything goes right, the APPSC may release recruitment notifications during December 2011 and January 2012. The commission is presently concentrating on release of Group -2 Written Test results within in stipulated time. Interview schedules for various technical recruitments also have been released and preparations are under progress for several other notifications.
