Indian Navy invited application from Unmarried men and women for the recruitment of Pilot/ Observer in Indian Navy.The batch for this short Service Commission will start from June 2012. This Executive Branch Coursewill be held at Indian Naval Academy at Ezihimala , Kerala.The details regarding this job is as following -
Recruitment Details:
Sr. No. 01 Name of Branch/ Cadre – Pilot for Only Male CandidatesSr. No. 02 Name of Branch/ Cadre – Observer for Male and Female both Candidates
Essential Qualification – Candidates must possess 60% of total marks at graduation level examination in any stream but they also have mathematics and physics in 12 th and passed for both branches.
Physical Standards – (i) Weight and Height – Male Candidate should be minimum height of 162.5 c.m and Female should be 152 c.m of height. Weight should be according to height. Length of leg, height of sitting, and length of thigh should be also according to height.
(ii) Eye vision - The Eye vision standard should be minimum 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/9 . Candidate should not have colour or night blindness.
Note - Candidates who have disqualified in previous pilot aptitude battery test should not apply for pilot Entry. They can apply for Observer entry only.
Age – Limit – Candidate should be born between 02 nd of July 1989 and 01 st of July 1993 (Inclusive both dates) means Candidate should be in Age of 19 to 23 years.
Selection Process -
Only shortlisted Candidates will be called for interview by SSB. shortlisting is based on performance and percentage in Educational Qualification. Interview fo shortlisted Candidates will be start from March to June 2012 at Bangalore. The Interview duration will be of five days. In interview there will be two stage of test. first stage test contains Picture perception, Group discussion, and Intelligence Test. Candidates who qualify in this first stage of test will face the second stage of test which contains group task tests, psychological test and Interview. Successful Candidates in both stage of test will be checked for Medical test. For Pilot branch Candidates will be face pilot aptitude battery test followed by medical exam. and For observer cadre candidate will be face aviation medical examination. Candidates who qualified in all above test will be appoint for training based on merit list.Salary and Other facilities –
Scale of Pay – For Sub Lieutenant – Pay Band III – 15600-39100/- with Grade pay of Rs. 5400/- and Msp Rs. 6000/-. The sub lieutenant will get approx. total Rs. 77000/- including all allowances. Besides salary Selected Candidates will get various types of allowances as for Transport , House Rent, Hard area posting, Uniform, diving, flying, seagoing, allowances etc. besides these allowances Selected Candidates will get Free medical facilities, canteen facilities, Mess, sports, club , and residential facilities etc. Candidates will get insurance of Rs. 40 Lakhs on contribution and Gratuity facility also. Candidate will also get concession in rail fare and free rail fare also for self and family. Candidates will get promotion from sub Lieutenant to Commander based on time bound and service condition.How to Apply –
